The Acura TL [Touring Luxury]has 4 generations to date.
The 1st generation built from 1995-1998 was a 4 door sedan with front wheel drive with a 3.2L V6 engine and a 4sp automatic transmission. It also housed a 2.0L, 2.5L 4cy SOHC engine.
The 2nd generation was built from 1999-2003 in Marysvilla, OH. Engines available were; 2.5L 4cy, 3.2L V6 with 225hp & 260hp, the transmissions available were a 4sp and 5sp automatic.
The 3rd generation had only the V6 engines; 3.2L 255hp & 3.5L 286hp with a 5sp automatic and a 6sp manual transmission.
The 4th [current]generation has the 3.5L 280hp V6 & 3.7L 305hp V6. The transmissions were a 5sp automatic & 6sp in either automatic or manual transmission.
